Dreamboat Canvas was born from a path I never expected to take. Years ago, after being laid off from a previous job, I accepted a temporary position in a marine canvas shop , a job meant to fill the gap “just for now.” I didn’t know how to sew. I didn’t know anything about canvas fabrication. But I’ve always been a hands-on, crafty person, and I learned one stitch at a time.

I started with cutting. Then small repairs. Then full canvas projects. Over nearly a decade of working for someone else, I realized that this wasn’t just a job I had stumbled into , it was a craft I truly loved. I found joy in precision, in solving challenges through design, and in watching a piece come together from scratch with my own hands.

In 2013, I opened my own studio , a small, owner-operated workshop where every project receives the same care and attention I would give if it were for my own home or my own boat. Today, Dreamboat Canvas operates as a boutique fabrication studio, specializing in custom canvas, upholstery, enclosures, and textile design for both yachts and estates across South Florida.

I will never use materials that aren’t right for the project or take shortcuts that compromise the result.
